Studied Sociology (diploma). From 1983 to 1985 he was administration director of the Munich TheaterFestival, from 1986 to 1993 he worked as producer and co-owner of ART BUREAU Munich in international productions and co-productions 1993 he was managing director of the Festival Theater der Welt in Munich. Actually he is artistic and managing director of the Theatre Festival SPIELART Munich (since 1995, executive producer of  the Munich Biennale - International Festival for Contemporary Music Theatre (since 1988) and coordinator of the festival DANCE (since 1998). In 2008 he received the Theatre Award of the City of Munich.
