Munich, January 18-23, 2011

 

The project launches with the five day academy that provides all selected participants with an intensive course in basics of festival programming and management, gives an insight into the history of "festivalisation" of Europe and provokes the discussion about the future perspectives in the arts and beyond. The academy will focus on four fundamental principles in the development of successful and meaningful festival: context, concept, practice and collaboration. During the academy all FIT festivals will be shortly presented, as well. The academy will combine both lecture-presentations and group work, theory and practice.

 

The international travel and accommodation will be covered by the programme, but not daily living costs.
